Title: Watercolor Wonderland
Course: Drawing and Painting
Artist: Megan Taggart
Teacher: Mr. Saylers
Subject Matter: Water Color Experiment
Medium: Watercolor, glue, salt, rubbing alcohol
Project Goal: To play around with different substances and water color paint to see the reaction and outcome.
Personal Review/Evaluation and Critique: In this project I used line, texture, color, emphasis, and pattern. I feel like in this project, my weakness was the splatter section and the blowing section. If I could redo this project, I would keep a color theme and and take more time to complete.
Elements of Art - Line, texture, and color was used in this project. Line because when painting the solid section, the brush could only go in one direction. Texture because the different substances that were used created something different in each section. Color because we used many different watercolor colors, and even mixed some, to make it pop!
Principles of Art- Emphasis and pattern was used in this project. Emphasis because the substances and methods used made the sections pop in their own way. Pattern was used because the scratching section kept a continuous pattern throughout.
