Title: Shutter Speed
Course:Photography
Artist: Megan Taggart
Teacher: Mrs. Gollan
Subject Matter: Seira Mason
Medium: Digital Photography (Different shutter speeds, Props:chair)
Project Goal: During this project I learned how to adjust the shutter speed on the camera. I also learned that the higher the shutter speed, the more clear the pictures are. This is simply because the camera takes it seconds quicker than a lower shutter speed, allowing the camera to capture it as an “action shot.”
Personal Review/Evaluation and Critique: I thought this project was a good first project. It really helped me learn how to use shutter speed. During this project, shape, form, space, movement, and proportion was used. Shape because of the model and how each picture had a different shape due to what shutter speed it was at. Form because the form that was wanted as the end result was clear and in the air. Space is used because of the room we were in and how we had enough room to jump into the air which created space. Movement was a big part of the project because the amount of movement the model did represented the different shutter speed settings. Proportion is used because of how we angled the camera the same/similar every picture.
