Title: More Flowers?!
Course: Drawing and Painting
Artist: Megan Taggart
Teacher: Mr. Saylers
Subject Matter: Sketch to Finish
Medium: Paint
Project Goal: To recreate one of our sketches in it's best form using paint to make it more eye catching.
Personal Review/Evaluation and Critique: This project used shape, value, color, movement and variety. This project was fun to do. If I could redo it though, I would add more flowers and do a more tropical feel. Maybe a super light green background instead.
Elements of Art - Shape, value, and color was used in this project. Shape because the leaves and flower petals were hard to shape. Value was used in the petals creating shadows and emphasis and a different color pop/feel. Color was used to make a tropical feel with the flowers and create a summer looking painting. (failed at doing)
Principles of Art- Movement and variety was used in this project. Movement was used with the certain colors and shades of the petals. Variety was used with the different type of flowers and the different colors, and shades, that were used.
