Title: Floating Rain
Course: Advanced Photography
Artist: Megan Taggart
Teacher: Mrs. Gollan
Subject Matter: My brother Jason watering the tree
Medium: a stool, watering can, my brother
Project Goal: I learned how to cut things out of images and edit my photos better
Personal Review/Evaluation and Critique: This project was a good first project to do. It refreshed my editing skills for the rest of class. I wouldn't redo this project because I thought my creativity was spot on. The only other thing I might have re-did was the placement of my brothers feet; when it came to the editing process, it was pretty difficult and part of his foot was cut out, but in the end, it was ok. In this project I used color, form, and space. The space was used by the sky, the form of my brother, and the bright colors the sun has made the photo to turn out to be. I then used balance in how Jason stood on the table. I also used proportion on where I placed the cut out pieces in my editing process.
