Title: "a day in the life"
Course: advanced photography
Artist: megan taggart
Teacher: Mrs. Gollan
Subject Matter: dance costumes, a chameleon, varsity jacket, makeup, poms
Medium: costumes and pets
Project Goal: positioning and timing
Personal Review/Evaluation and Critique: i had a really hard time coming up with ideas for each photo category but i think i did well in the end. The dance costume photo is supposed to be my conceptual photo. the poms and jacket is how others see me-a dancer. and the last photo is how i see myself, someone warm and loving.
Elements of Art - color, space, shape. color was used because every image is bright and colorful, very eye catching. (mainly because my walls are purple). shape was used in what size makeup i decided to put in the photo. space was used in how much or how little i used. this goes along my usage of rule of thirds.
Principles of Art- movement and balance. movement was used literally because my chameleon gave me a hard time taking a picture of him. he doesn't stay still so i had to take a bunch of photos and hope they turned out good. balance was used in how much space i took up and how i used my rule of thirds.
