Title: Animal Variation Course: Drawing and Painting Artist: Megan Taggart Teacher: Mr. Saylers Subject Matter: Animal Collage ProjectMedium: Colored pencils Project Goal: Small details of the coloring direction matters on making the same, consistent texture Personal Review/Evaluation and Critique: This project used shape, color, and value along with pattern and proportion in each little animal square drawing. If i could redo this project, I would try and spend a better amount of time on my animals and color in the other one's better. I liked how simple the project was but i didn't like how none of your square animals could have easily not been chosen to be colored and hung up.Elements of Art -Shape, color, and value was used in this project because the shape of the animal, coloring in of the animals which involved shading, etc. and value with the light to darks to create the shades. Principles of Art-Pattern and Proportion was used because each animal has its own unique pattern to it and must be proportioned correctly. This means making leg shapes similar in size, equal, making sure it's measured to actuality correctly.
