Title: A Butterflies Perspective
Course: Drawing and Painting
Artist: Megan Taggart
Teacher: Mr. Saylers
Subject Matter: Contour-Wrapped
Medium: Pencil and sharpie
Project Goal: To show depth in the wrapped/weaved part of the project.
Personal Review/Evaluation and Critique: I used shape, value, space, pattern, and rhythm in this project. Personally, I could have made the weaving part better. I really liked how I shaped the butterfly though.
Elements of Art - Shape, value, and space was used in this project. Shape because the weaving made up the shape of the wings. Value was used under the weaves and on the side of the wings. Space was used to show how far/close the weave was, making it either tighter or looser.
Principles of Art- Pattern and rhythm was used within the weaved part. Pattern and rhythm both created the effect it shows, showing value along with this.
