Title: the depths
Course: advanced photography Artist: megan taggart Teacher: Mrs. Gollan Subject Matter: forks and spoons Medium: forks, spoons, light, shadow Project Goal: how to angle the light to make it look cooler Personal Review/Evaluation and Critique: at first I wasn't so sure about this project. as i started it, i really enjoyed it. i had many different kinds of silverware to where it made this assignment easy, unique, and different. i wouldn't change anything about my photos because i am proud of them all. Elements of Art - shape, value, color. shape was used in the silverware and which i chose to use and how i chose to place them. shape is also shown through the funky shadows. value is shown through the shadows of each, and color stayed monochromatic making these forks and spoons have a more dramatic effect to them. Principles of Art- pattern and emphasis. pattern was used by how i chose to place the forks and spoons. it also was shown in how the light reflected it and created the funny shadows. emphasis was used in the shadows. obviously the first thing brought to your attention are the shadows because the are dark and different looking. |
