Title: Another world Going Crazy
Course: Drawing and Painting
Artist: Megan Taggart
Teacher: Mr. Saylers
Subject Matter: Comic/character Creation
Medium: Colored pencils
Project Goal: Create a nonhuman looking character/superhero/villain
Personal Review/Evaluation and Critique: In this project I used color, space, shape, variety, and repetition. Personally was a super fun project. It used a lot of imagination and coloring skills. It showcased how to use colored pencils and how to doodle, on an expert level.
Elements of Art - Color, space, and shape was used in this project. Color was used to show all the fun and funkyness in this piece. Space was clearly shown by how the planets are far apart and it's an open plain. Shape was used to build this project and show the differences between “earth” life and “space” life.
Principles of Art- Variety and repetition was used in this project. Variety was used by the many fun colors that were used and how much variety “space” life has. Repetition is shown by the constant space theme that continues throughout the drawing.
