future reflection
Title: a look at me
Course: advanced photo
Artist: megan taggart
Teacher: Mrs. Gollan
Subject Matter: me and my future
Medium: me, clothing items, lighter, mask, suit case, etc.
Project Goal: i learned how to use the self timer on my camera, and how to better edit my photos together
Personal Review/Evaluation and Critique: i loved this project so much. the only thing i wish i could have changed even though i had no control over it was my location of the photos. I wish I could have shot in a better more widespread location, but that's okay. This photo project really got me thinking about my future and forced me to be as creative as I could be! I also learned how to merge photos together on Photopea.
Elements of Art - shape, value and color we're all used in this project. Shape was used in terms of lining up each photo and editing out funny shapes and such to make it look perfect and clone myself. Value was used more-less in the mental state of the project; it got me really thinking about so many things and how I need to value my time here and not always look forward. Then color was used to contrast off the boring white walls.
Principles of Art- emphasis and variety we're both used in this project. Emphasis was used in terms of highlighting future me in the mirror. Variety was used in the differences among each photo that was taken, and the story behind it.
