Title: "perfect doesn't last"
Course: advanced drawing and painting
Artist: Megan Taggart
Teacher: Mr. Salyers
Subject Matter: lights chasing with darks to create the song "perfect doesn't last"
Medium: pen, colored pencil, paper
Project Goal: even if its a simple idea, it can still speed 1,000 words
Personal Review/Evaluation and Critique: this project was what we started off with while at stay home learning. i made mine minimalistic because it reflects the song better. i liked the project because we were able to take a song we connected to and make a project about it.
Elements of Art - value, color, and form were all used in this project. value was used when creating the clashing "waves" of the ups and downs. color was used on the light hearted side to bring brightness and happiness. form was shown through the structure and strokes of the colored pencil.
Principles of Art- Rhythm and emphasis were shown in this project. rhythm because of how the waves move you, and emphasis because of the words popping out at you to give you that light/dark feel.
