Title: Portraits with Natural and Studio Lighting
Course:Photography
Artist: Megan Taggart
Teacher: Mrs. Gollan
Subject Matter: Digital photography
Medium: Digital Photography (Studio)
Project Goal: The goal of this project was to play around with lighting in the studio and see what type of lighting does what. We took several photos in the studio with different angles and methods of lighting. Then we took some photos with indoor outdoor lighting and other photos with strictly outdoor lighting.
Personal Review/Evaluation and Critique: Value, texture, form, variety, and balance were all used in this project. Value because of where the light was placed. Texture because the illuminator made the models skin glow and become clear of blemishes. Form because of how the model presented themselves. Variety because of the different methods we used for lighting. Balance because of how the lighting was balanced out in equal proportions or unequal.
